ABOUT ME
I am Carlo Seemann, an interactive media designer based in Bielefeld, Germany.
My work focuses on interactive installations, often combining visual systems with sound and spatial experience. With a background in music production, I also do sound design for video projects, installations and more.
I develop video & light installations for events, festivals and public spaces. My practice is driven by an interest in intuitive interaction, reduced interfaces, and systems that are engaging without requiring explanation. The goal is to create experiences that are accessible, visually precise, and responsive to human presence.
Conceptually, my work is influenced by themes such as space, minimalism, and noise. I often explore how abstract visual and sonic structures respond to movement, proximity, and collective behavior, making participation a central element of the work.
I am currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Experiment at HSBI Bielefeld, where I continue to develop my artistic and technical practice in the field of interactive and audiovisual design.
