Interactive Installation

Bielefeld Redux is an installation developed for the interactive tour at Wiesenbad as part of Nachtansichten Bielefeld. The work reimagines the architectural identity of Bielefeld through a minimalist, data-inspired visual language. Iconic landmarks such as the Sparrenburg, the SchücoArena, the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle, and the city's television tower are abstracted into dynamic compositions of points and lines that transform in real time.

By moving in the interactive zone, visitors become active participants in the system. Their movements are tracked, subtly distorting and reshaping the digital architecture. Each interaction reveals new perspectives on the city's structure, inviting reflection on how human presence transforms and redefines urban space.

Concept and development by me, with technical implementation by Provisuell GmbH. The installation was realized in Touch Designer, combining motion tracking and generative design to create a living, responsive map of Bielefeld and an ever-changing dialogue between architecture, technology, and its inhabitants.
